Check out the Makedonium… certainly the freakiest monument to grace Eastern Europe (or anywhere, for that matter). I think if I grew up in this town I would have creepy dreams about the Makedonium all my life.

Thankfully, there are still lots of kids who go out looking for real world thrills.
Like these folks in Russia. They tie themselves to a bridge and wait for a train to come. When the train goes by, they jump as a group and swing under the bridge. Ultimately, they’re trying to swing up onto the other side of the bridge. Though based on these photos, only one guy made it to the other side. (via Neatorama)
